ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRIES PROJECT! 


 During the last term of the year, 5th grade students are developing a project in groups, using English as the main communicative tool.

Each group is going to search for information about a country in which English is used as the official language. 

The eight countries chosen for the project development are: 
- Canada
- United States of America
- England
- Ireland
- Scotland
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Wales

On Tuesdays, students go to the ICT room and do some research about the following information:

- Country situation
 - Extension
 - Population
 - Climate

- Capital
- Important cities
- Languages spoken
- Flag
- Landmarks
- Currency
- Religions
-  Monuments

- Culture: music, sports, traditional gastronomy.
- Curiosities: legends, stories.
